Celebrating Our ProAm Stars

From the very beginning, Britannia was built for ProAm.

Our mission has always been to champion these dancers — not just in competition, but as artists, athletes, and headline performers.

The Gala Dinner is where this vision shines brightest.

Each year, the Gala features the final rounds of the Britannia ProAm Championships, bringing the weekend’s most dedicated dancers to centre stage. In 2026, these finals will also serve as part of the prestigious World ProAm Dance Cup — making the night even more significant for competitors and supporters alike.

These ProAm performers aren’t just competitors — they’re the heart of Britannia. Their artistry and commitment continue to raise the standard of the event year after year, and in 2026, we’ll honour that tradition with our most exciting Gala showcase yet.

World-Class Performances, Every Year

From World Champions to British Open winners, the Britannia Gala has featured an exceptional calibre of talent:

  • 2019: Victor Fung & Anastasia Muravyova · Ferdinando Iannaccone & Yulia Musikhina

  • 2020: Gunnar Gunnarsson & Marika Doshoris · Kyle Taylor & Izabela Skierska

  • 2022: Domen Krapez & Natascha Karabey · Petar Daskalov & Zia James

  • 2023: Petar Daskalov & Zia James (repeat performance)

  • 2024: European Professional Latin Championships

  • 2025: Glenn Boyce & Caroly Janes · World Invitational Showcase

For 2026, we are thrilled to welcome back our World Invitational Amateur Competition — a unique showcase that brings together hand-selected elite couples from both the Latin and Ballroom worlds.

These dancers represent the very best of their disciplines, competing head-to-head in a high-stakes, high-glamour evening finale.

The concept was first introduced at Britannia 2025, and the response was electric. Our guests witnessed spectacular performances from some of the world’s top Amateur couples, including the reigning World Latin Champions and the European Ballroom Champions. The event raised the bar for what a ProAm Gala could be and we've captured some of that magic in the short highlight reel here.

In 2026, we're elevating the experience once again — with new talent, new surprises, and an exclusive show performance by a top international Latin show couple, to be revealed in early 2026. This year's Gala promises unforgettable moments, unmatched entertainment, and an atmosphere that blends high competition with world-class artistry.

Whether you're a competitor, supporter, or guest — the Britannia Gala Dinner & Dance is an evening you'll never forget.
